It was all in her head. A couple of weeks with that no-good bastard made her thought about the "future" sweet and scary at the same time. She thought about having a family, living in a medium size urban looking house in the city, raising 2-3 kids, pouring orange juice and cooking pancakes in the morning for him, having a job involving magazine and fashion, going home at night, cooking dinner and chat with family. Sitting in front of a warm fireplace with him talking back about their Highschool story, when they were young and stupid, but made it all the way until now.
Wow, that's some vision eh?
Although, the truth and matter is that she just broke up with him, they went out not for a long time, in fact it wasn't long at all, it was obviously a mistake; but he dent her heart, "dent" a term she likes to use because "hurt" is way too dramatic. She was happy though, beyond happy actually, she actually thought her life was flawless, when its not even close to, but when he held her hand and look her in the eye, she knew everything will be. Her friends would say "gosh jane, thanks for ditching us, you and John are inseparable" or "Jane, you guys are soo cute together" she loved it when they mention her relationship, she love cuddling with him in front of all her friends, she love everything about him and what she thought they have. Jane never planned falling in love. Before him it was just silly relationship that didnt mean anything to her, it was simply for her to get rid of loneliness. She didnt think she could fall for someone like him. If you take a paper and make a t-table listing what makes him attractive you fill probably find 2 and his unattractiveness? dont ask. definitely more than 1 or 2! He is not smart, buff, six-packed, tall, mysterious, blue eyed. He doesnt play any instrument or belong in any sports team, he is not close of being popular,or even recognizable. He was simply a guy.
There's always something about him though. The way he walks damn slow, the way he carries his cover up on his shoulder, the way he dont do anything in school and thinks its ok. The least attractive thing, attracts her more than ever, it was the challenge of winning his heart most importantly. When they got together, she memorize the exact time, the date, the place, what she was wearing, what he was wearing, what was around her, what was happening, everything. That was how much he meant for her. Jane is not the prettiest girl or the most wanted, she was simply a girl that seeks happiness in other people, specifically significant other, she believed in love and its wonders, when she was with him she knew nothing could have been better. Her happiness though didnt stay very long, as perfect as he may sound, he is nothing but a heartbreaker. Poor girl, after him she got into a state where she just dont want to have anything to do with love,relationship, or boys. She was a highschool student a year from graduating, she went through hell. When they broke up, she tired killing herself, after that she didnt eat for weeks, she didnt talk for weeks, she abandoned her friends that suppose to comfort her, she knew they will say "i told you so" she cried for months and months.
She could never forget, she doesnt want to forget. If there's anyone she wants to be with its just him, she might heal but her love for other people wont be the same with the love she gave him, that had been taken advantage of. Karma, its all shes depending on now. She mention him every single time she prayed, asking for his happiness and bless. She never hated him for his doing, she was/is in love. Silly girl.
